Since Bjørnådal Arkitektstudio was established in 2007, the goal has been to meet customers' needs and wishes with architecture that harmonizes with style, personal preferences, nature and surroundings.

METHOD

We use everything from digital visualizations to handmade sketches and physical models. This breadth means that projects are clearly communicated to customers and planning authorities, and helps to ensure good cooperation. We are concerned with involving the client and users as much as possible through frequent working meetings during the process.

POETIC - HOLISTIC APPROACH

The poetic aspect is a desire to explore architecture with a more artistic approach. Exploring people, the landscape, cultures, myths and stories helps to create projects that are relevant to people and people's experience of the world in our modern society.

Poetry shows us the way to expand our awareness and mindset and gives us a new perspective at our built environment.

ENVIRONMENT

Sustainability and durability are key values for us. The holistic aspect is connected with nature and sustainability in balance with humanistic and sociological values. That is why we are always looking for energy-saving solutions and durable materials. In many of our projects, we have also reused materials from existing buildings.

COMPETENCE

We have experience with all types of buildings, both for private individuals and the public sector.

A number of assignments are about new construction, but we also take on projects within building renewal, including rehabilitation, extension, renovation and reallocation of existing buildings.

When building renovations and extensions, the architects' expertise is very important when it comes to anticipate and solve the challenges that are often found in old buildings. By taking these challenges into account from the start, you will save both time and major expenses.

Bjørnådal Arkitektstudio provides architectural services throughout Norway, based in Kristiansund on Nordmøre.

We have broad expertise and many years of experience in designing everything from sketch projects to completion certificates in both the private and public sector.

This involves, among other things, project planning, area planning, construction work, visualizations and area plans.

No architectural challenge is too small or too big.

From sketch project to certificate of completion

We have a strong focus on good customer processes and use the sketch phase to find the best solution in dialogue with you. We have extensive experience with the implementation of good design, dialogue with the municipality and contractors and details for execution on the construction site.

Kreativ leder - Arkitekt MNAL

Hans-Petter Bjørnådal er arkitekt uteksaminert fra Arkitektskolen i Bergen (BAS) 2003. Han har 20 års erfaring i arkitektyrket med bl.a. store leilighetsprosjekter som Lilleby og Strinda Hageby, barnehager, kontrollstasjoner for Statens Vegvesen, omsorgsboliger, eneboliger og hytter. Han har sittet i styret i Nordnorsk Arkitektforening, NAL´s jubilemskomite og vært i juryen for flere internasjonale arkitektkonkurranser, samt vunnet flere internasjonale arkitekturpriser og stilt ut på “Shchusev, det Nasjonale Arkitekturmuseum i Moskva” i 2020 og “La Biennale de Venezia” i 2016 og 2021. Arbeidene har blitt publisert internasjonalt i blant annet Arkitektur, Topos, Architizer, Designboom og ArchDaily.
